Do you want to hike somewhere not currently offered on our Hikes page? We offer our guiding services through much of Eastern New York, from Long Island up to the Canadian Border. Perhaps you’ve seen a hike online or on social media that captured your interest, but you don’t feel comfortable going alone or leading your group of friends. Even if the hike or location is new to us, all Empire Hikes Guides are trained to research the logistics of the trip and provide you with the most exciting hiking excursion.
Pricing on Custom Hikes must be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Pricing is also dependent on the region of our hike. Click on the Regions tab to see a map of New York’s DEC regions. For an estimate of pricing, look at our currently offered hikes in the same region.
Custom hikes are specifically tailored for each booking. Prior to your hike day we can discuss trails and options based on your activity level and what you would like to see. Depending on the hike you would like, we can inform you of time and distance more accurately during our booking conversations. A booking is for an entire day; there is no cutoff or limit on how long we can hike for. Thus, we can extend or shorten the hike as it pleases you.
